My First Daycare Adventures was founded by Shelton parents and educators who believed early childhood deserved more — more warmth, more wonder, and more respect for the families it serves.
Our mission
To nurture confident, kind, curious children by partnering deeply with the families who love them. We believe play is serious work, kindness is taught daily, and safety is non-negotiable.
Our team
Every MFDA teacher is background-checked, CPR and First-Aid certified, and trained in early-childhood development. Most importantly, they're the kind of grown-ups who remember a child's favorite dinosaur.
Safety & licensing
We're licensed by the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. Our building features secure keypad entry, daily sanitization, peanut-aware menus, and indoor cameras in shared spaces.
